--Victoria Shoes --
Dear World:
Since the company was founded in 1915, each piece is still made by hand in Spain.
In recent years, the apparel industry has been said to be the second most polluting industry in the world. Victoria Shoes has been manufacturing environmentally friendly products long before pollution became an issue.

"The History of Strawberry-Scented Shoes" (Canvas type)
There was a time after the war when raw materials were scarce and we had to use old tire rubber. We started to cover up the bad smell with strawberry essence. We went back to using natural rubber, but we still use strawberry essence and the strawberry scent is part of Victoria Shoes' history and identity.

-Since 2019, our entire collection has been designed, managed and stored in certified Passive House facilities, which minimizes our environmental impact.
- We are committed to eco-friendly packaging, using recycled cardboard and not using glue or varnish to make subsequent recycling difficult.
・We use organic cotton, which we consume about 16,000 kg per year, and the cotton we use is grown in Andalusia, spun in Catalonia, and woven in Alicante. In addition, by using 4,500 kg of the 16,000 kg as recycled cotton, we have created a new life for cotton that would otherwise be discarded, and reduced the consumption of raw materials.
- The vulcanized sole is made from natural rubber extracted from the Hevea tree.
This process was invented in La Rioja in the 50s and involves moulding the material like a waffle and applying heat and pressure to it, which bonds it directly to the upper fabric of the shoe, making it resistant.
・The core material of the PVC sole is made from recycled polyurethane obtained from the Consumer Affairs Agency to avoid increasing the amount of raw materials used and the weight.
